LEGO® City Hot Rod (60485)

Young race car fans ages 5 and up will find plenty to love in the LEGO® City Hot Rod, an 81-piece building set that puts drag racing excitement right into their hands. Designed with classic hot rod styling, this model delivers the kind of detailed, imaginative play that keeps kids building, racing, and storytelling for hours.

Key Features

The Hot Rod stands out with oversized rear tires built for speed and a lift-up roof that reveals a detailed driver cockpit. Its bold purple color scheme, accented with neon green flames, gives the car an eye-catching, authentic drag-racing look. A driver minifigure completes the set, ready to take the wheel for fast-paced pretend play.

Building Experience

Kids can build with confidence using the LEGO® Builder app, which offers intuitive, step-by-step guidance throughout the construction process. The app's 3D instructions allow builders to zoom in and rotate each model for a closer look, while built-in progress tracking and set-saving features make it easy to pick up right where they left off.

Play Value

Once assembled, the Hot Rod is built for action. Kids can lift the roof, buckle in the driver minifigure, and launch into imaginative street racing scenarios. Every detail, from the tires to the flame design, is designed to fuel storytelling and high-speed pretend play.

Gift Suitability

This set makes an excellent gift for boys and girls ages 5 and up who love toy cars, hands-on building, and creative play. Its compact size and engaging design make it a great choice for birthdays, surprise treats, or any occasion that calls for a thoughtful, play-ready gift.

Expandability

The Hot Rod pairs well with other sets from the LEGO City range (sold separately), giving kids the opportunity to expand their collection and build out even bigger racing adventures.
